Crown Paints unveils new paint products

The lead manufacturer of paints, Crown Berger Kenya has unveiled new products to bring in the fast and ever growing technology improvements in construction industry. One of the products launched is a colour mobile application for efficient products and service delivery.The first product is a water repellant paint referred to as the ultra guard silicone paint. One of its unique features is that it can withstand extreme weather conditions, combines a self-cleaning characteristic on painted surfaces and drains all water. Besides, it comes with a life expectancy of 10 years due to its durability factor.
The mentioned characteristics help in increasing the life of building structures as well as reduce maintenance costs. It is suitable for major architectural structures like concrete & masonry, new and previously painted plaster, cement, brick, stone and many other surfaces including soft-board and hardboard ceilings and walls, asbestos sheets among others.
The second product is timber master-ultimate wood stain technology. This product is structured to meet the highest quality of performance by enhancing the beauty of wood while giving protection against deterioration due to surrounding environments. It has a rich pigmented formulation and lucid finishes to meet high quality standards. This feature allows wood grains to remain natural. The Aquavar product offers an outstanding protection against ultra violet rays from the sun and is non-flammable.
Moreover, it serves as an excellent and reliable protective coat for wood. This brand gives a clear visibility of the grain to enhance quality of wood. The technology is precisely used on doors, window-panels, homes and office furniture for interior purposes, and garden furniture which are exposed to sun and moisture.
Wallcare cement putty is uniquely designed based on white cement for exterior & interior surfaces. It creates an amazing and a reliable protective base, adhesive strength and durability. When walls are wet, it prevents the paint from flaking. Being cement based, it has better compatibility with the base cement plaster and has an ease characteristic in application resulting in smooth surface.
Glass Plaster wall finishes are of the premium grade high built texture finishes based on Acrylic Resin. Glass Plaster finishes have outstanding water resistance and withstand extreme weather conditions. This finish gives a sparkling effect under lighting due to the presence of glass beads. Its high vapour permeability allows concrete to breathe, that is, allows moisture in vapour form to escape from the concrete. These excellent properties enhance the aesthetic value of a building as well as increase the life of building structures, thus reducing the maintenance cost.

It is also suitable for major architectural structures like concrete and masonry, new or previously painted plaster, as well as cement and brick structures.
Crown Vinyl Matt emulsion is a super premium quality interior paint that is incorporated with Teflon surface protector additive which improves stain resistance on walls. Crown Vinyl Matt Emulsion with Teflon surface protector forms very smooth and appealing finish which enhances the beauty of your home. Suitable for new, and previously painted plaster, cement, brick, stone, asbestos softboard and hardboard sheets etc. This finish has an exceptional ease of application, dries fast and is highly washable.
Crown paints products are non-toxic, environmental friendly, water proof and have been tested in laboratories to be used locally and internationally.
